Our Partners

Our Trust sits within a wider network of organisations, all working towards improved health and social care for the people of Gloucestershire:

2gether NHS Foundation Trust runs mental health and learning disabilities services in the county and works with us to improve care for patients and service users within those groups.

  • In September 2017 our Trust we announced plans for our Trust to join with 2gether to form a single organisation. More information on this process is available by clicking here.

Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for purchasing many of your community health services. It assesses and predicts the health needs in the community and works with us to design the appropriate services to meet those needs within its budget.

Gloucestershire County Council works in partnership with our Trust as well as commissioning some of our services. Our Trust works alongside adult social care professionals and manages budgets on behalf of the council, and also works closely with the council on a range of other services involving public health and health improvement.

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust runs Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals. We work closely to provide continued health and social care for people who need it following their discharge from hospital.

South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust runs the ambulance service in the region as well as managing out of hours services.

Healthwatch Gloucestershire is the consumer champion for health and social care and works with us to ensure that public opinion is used to shape and inform service decisions.

Our Trust a member of West of England Academic Health Science Network (WEAHSN), a wide-ranging group of organisations including NHS providers and commissioners, academics and private companies aiming to develop innovative, evidence-based practice to improve health and care quality.
